To me Twitter was 10 trillion boorish announcements, millions more spouting every second, of what some Twit was eating at that moment.

(I’m eating a ham sandwhich! Yum!)

Cyberspace, like the Gulf of Mexico, polluted with oily black Twitter plumes no one could cap.

I’ve had a change of heart. Twitter is poetry. Concisely penned expressions, from the sublime to the purely mundane. Twitter is a garden of precious expressions to be contemplated like I imagine a resting samuri once contemplated a flower petal.

After disdaining Twitter and ridiculing it, I have today, become Twitterpated. From India, Natasha Badhwar tweets as natashabadhwar at https://twitter.com/natashabadhwa It’s worth a read.

Let’s try this again–Lost all your tweets, direct messages–Error 270, page does not exist!!!! Notified Twitter Support, could not get through…apparently it’s happening alot. Are you experiencing such
technical difficulties? Write back if you can…

Thank you.
Most many other things, I think Twitter is what you make of it. Like a neighborhood park that no one maintained. Now overgrown with weeds, grass and slushy parts. But sometimes migratory birds visit, even the weeds flower, maybe ducks in the slush. Lovely at dawn and dusk.

I got inspired too and wrote some words on this topic.
best, Natasha

…that no? I must have lost the end of that.
I am reminded of an old newspaper column, written when SonyWalkman-like things came out, long before CDs. A writer, saw one man, sitting on green grass, knees up, in a Vancouver, B.C., city park, looking over a pond, his ear phones on, supremely isolated from humanity. She imagined a dozen people beside him, sitting, same position, ear phones on, then 100, then 200, all sitting on grass, knees up, surrounding that pond, isolated from each other, ear phones on, there but not there.
Twitter is the opposite of that. We share the music.

Thank you.
I see the rest of your message now. i’m honoured to to have your words on my blog. That alone is a delight.
